- Mary comes home from court and is greeted by John yelling at her for disobeying Elizabeth. Mary explains what she is doing in Salem and drops the bomb that Elizabeth was accused today and Mary shut it down.

- Elizabeth accused John of not telling her that he talked to Abigail alone. They argue about the Abigail situation and John says he may report her.
- Reverend Hale shows up to the house to talk about Elizabeth being accused. The conversation eventually moves to Hale questioning why they haven't gone to church and why their last son wasn't baptized.
- Bible
- Giles and Francis nurse come to the Proctor's house to tell that their wives had been taken to jail. They tell about the reasons why they were taken and tried.
- Cheever shows up and announces that he has a warrant for Elizabeth. While there he discovers the poppet Mary made her claming it witched Abigail.
- John explains to mary that they both will go to court and Mary will tell the truth about Abigail. She argues this for awhile but eventually gives in and kind of agrees.
