- Once lived a very rich man, walking down the street, living his normal life
- Then suddenly, the rich man comes across a homeless man, living on the street, desperately needing some support.
- The poor kid began to beg the rich man for money, because the kid was extremely poor since he had just lost his parents
- And since the rich man had a nice heart, he agreed to give the kid some money just to get him on track
- But the silly rich man, stupidly decided to film the incident, him giving money to the young kid, and wanted to post it on social media
- Ready to post it on social media, the man stopped and had a think to himself about his values, and wondered if this really was a good idea
- The next day, the rich man was sitting on his couch at home, with the video of him giving money to the homeless kid, open on his phone
- He stopped and thought, What would God want me to do? and he remembered the verse, Matthew 6:1-4, and realised that doing a good deed, didn't mean it had to be announced out loud with trumpets.
- And maybe sometimes he shouldn't let his left hand know what his right hand was doing, so that his amazing deed was kept secret, to him, himself and God, and to be expressed with God, and God only
- So he deleted the video straight away, not posting it to social media.
- And he even went back down to the same street, and offered the young boy and place to sleep for the night, since he was in such a giving mood. Because of this, the man had found himself a son, who he loved greatly
