  • Acid rain is caused by a reaction that begins with sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide. They can mix and react with water, oxygen, and other chemicals to form more acidic pollutants.

  • Acid rain can affect plants too. it also removes minerals and nutrients from the soil that trees need to grow.

  • Acid rain can cause problems for many animals. The entire food web will be affected. For example, acid rain can cause insects in lakes to die. These insects are food for many other animals, such as fish, birds, frogs, and more. Its predator's might not have any food the food web will be unbalanced.
  • yes it does! the effects are most clearly seen in aquatic environments, such as streams, lakes, and marshes where it can be harmful to fish and other wildlife. Acid rain can leach aluminum from soil particles and then flow into streams and lakes
