Hello Jim, as you know I have been interested in Chemistry and I wanted to share my information with you based on what I studied about yesterday.
Hello Joey, yeah I always see you studying Chemistry!you can share your information if you would like.
So, there are 3 laws of matter: the law of Conservation of Mass, The Law of definite proportions and The Law of multiple proportions.
Not at all!
Oh, That's cool. Do you mind explaining them to me?
The Law of Definite Proportions states that a Chemical compound will always have the same proportions or amount of each element by weight, no matter what the amount is.
So, the Law of conservation of mass is basically when the mass stays the same when it's in an experiment or a mixture. the definition of this Law is: "Mass is neither created nor is it Destroyed."
The Law of Multiple Proportions if two elements form more than one compound, then the ratios of the masses of the second element which combine with a fixed mass of the first element will always be ratios of small whole numbers.
Oh wow!!That's so interesting. Thanks Joey for explaining them to me!
