We start with two best friends. Antonio Cruz (left) and Felix Vargas (right). They're both 17, live in lower Manhattan, and both are passionate boxers.
Antonio and Felix stop on their run to talk about the fact that they have to box each other for the Golden Gloves match. They decide that they won't talk until after the match. They want to put their friendship aside.
Both Antonio and Felix spent time thinking about the fight and how it might affect their friendship while they are apart.
The bell has rung and round one has begun.
Soon the boys fight until its a bloody mess.
At the very end of the match, the referee tries to call the winner, but both boys walk out with their hands up.
