- A Family for Mia
- Once upon a time, in a sunny park not too far from here, there lived a little girl named Mia
- Mia loved to play, run, and laugh with her friends
- But sometimes, when the sun went down, Mia felt a little different from the other kids
- Mia knew she had a special story - a story of love, adventure, and family
- At night, she loved to snuggle with her teddy bear and listen to a bedtime story
- MIAAAA PICK A BEDTIME STORY I WILL BE RIGHT THERE!
- Her mom and dad would tell her about the day they brought her home and how much they loved her."We knew right away that we were meant to be your parents"
- Great Job Mia, that looks fantastic! Mia's mom and dad encouraged her to be herself and express her feelings in many ways
- Mia learned that families come in many different ways... some families are born, and some families are made through love
- Happy Adoption Day Mia!
- One sunny day in the park, Mia shared her special story with her friends. I don't look like my mommy and daddy, because I am adopted
- Mia realized that what makes a family special is the love they share
- But Mia's family was unique. Her dad, Marcel, was born in Paris, France.
- Her mom, Grace, was born in Barcelona, Spain.
- At first, Mia found it challenging to connect with her mom and dad. They both spoke a different language and had different traditions.
- Mia's mom and dad were patient with her. They understood that Mia would need some time to settle into her new family.
- Mia's mom taught her how to cook her favourite dish, Paella! They laughed together as they made the yummy food
- As time went by, Mia's family celebrated both their own traditions and the ones they learned from each other
- But sometimes, late at night, Mia would wonder about her birth parents... Why did they leave her?
- Mia felt a bit confused, but her mom and dad always listened and comforted her when she needed to talk. No matter what time it was!
- Mia knew she had the most wonderful, loving family anyone could wish for
- And so, Mia continued to play, run, and laugh with her friends in the sunny park, knowing she had a forever family who loved her just the way she was
- The end, but not really. Because Mia's story of love, adventure, and family would go on, just like yours and mine
