Storyboard Text

  • No, it is survival of the fittest.

  • Exposition: This is the scene in the book where the main character is introduced. This scene takes place on a yacht were you learn about Rainsford, the main character, through a argument he is having with a friend.
  • Dang it, Ivan Will be hard to replace.
  • Inciting Incident: This is the scene were the main part of the story starts. In the case of this short story it is when Rainsford falls off the yacht while trying to see were gunshots came from.
  • Rising action: This is the set up to the climax in the story. This is when Rainsford meets the Antagonist General Zaroff. He then learns that he hunts people! In this scene Rainsford agrees to be hunted by the antagonist General Zaroff.
  • That was the best sleep ever.
  • Climax: This is the big event that leads to the Falling action. In this scene Rainsford is "falling" off a cliff to fake his death. This action makes Zaroff think he is dead.
  • falling action: This is the lead up to the end of the story. This scene depicts when Rainsford and General Zaroff fight after Rainsford reveals he is not dead.
  • Resolution:The wrapping up of story or ending. This scene is after Rainsford wins his dual with General Zaroff. Then Rainsford sleeps in Zaroff's bed thinking about how this is going to be the best sleep of his life.
