- After the Paleolithic era was over people began to cultivate crops, tamed animals, trade routes, and permanent settlement. Which the first early civilization was called Mesopotamia located between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers.

- The Mesopmatmia developed the first system of writing known as Cuneiform to keep records of crops, animals, and flooding of the Tigris and Euphrates around 3200 B.C.

Usually, young boys and men have all opportunities to run the government and become scholars. Also, Women have to be in charge of the household provide for the youth on their own.
- The codes have served as a model for establishing justice in other cultures and are believed to have influenced laws. It was the most extensive law code from ancient Mesopotamia used to govern the city-state.
