In the late 1880s, Heinrich Hertz provided conclusive evidence of radio waves. He employed two spark gaps: one on a receiving antenna and one on an induction coil. Sparks would cross its gap as well as waves carried by the coil transmitter's sparks were picked up by the receiving antenna.
-Television-Radio-Phones-Wireless Computers
For television and FM and AM radio broadcasts, military communications, mobile phones, ham radio, wireless computer networks, and a variety of other communications applications, radio waves at different frequencies are employed. Most radio waves can readily travel through the atmosphere of Earth.
Without them, we couldn't make phone calls or watch television, and get things such as weather reports! Radiowaves keep us safe and are beneficial.
How does this affect our lives?
Radio waves are utilized for communication, nautical and aviation navigation, as well as the wireless transfer of sound messages or information. Amplitude modulation (AM), frequency modulation (FM), or digital information is applied to the electromagnetic carrier wave (pulse modulation).
