Storyboard Text
- Melanie knocked over the flamingo and realized it was a fake, Melanie started to cry.
- The caretaker began to explain how people started to crowd to close to the lake, so the lake was poisoned.
- Melanie stopped crying
- The caretaker and Melanie's father started walking towards Melanie to pick her up.
- "Its a shame isn't it? How people poisoned the water by crowing too close to the lake." The caretaker said to Melanie's father.
- Melanie had heard everything the caretaker said and became angry.
- Melanie stopped crying after she heard the caretaker. Melanie's father said, "Its getting late, we should go now.
- She broke the fake flamingo in order to punish the world for polluting so much. She knew that many other people had the same dream as her and he wanted to crush their dreams as the crushed hers.
- The anger Melanie experienced was extreme. It was like all the happiness was sucked from her world. (Simile?)
- Melanie picked up the fake flamingo and snapped its neck in half, leaving it broken. The snap was so loud a person on the moon could hear it. (Hyperbole) Leave now! The caretaker shouted in rage. Melanie and her father were escorted home. The flamingo was replaced later and Melanie apologized to the caretaker.
