- The Capulets and Montagues start a huge riot when the Capulet's are mad because they lost the joust. The prince stops the fight and then tells them to never fight again.

- Count Paris talks to the Capulets about marrying Juliet.
- Act 1 Scene 5

- Lady Capulet has a talk with juliet about marrying Count Paris.
- Mercutio mocks Romeo and speaks about Queen Mab of the fairies. Romeo senses the night at the party will set fate in motion and lead to untimely death.
- Romeo and Juliet fall in love and kiss at the feast. Tybalt wants to harm Romeo for coming to a Capulet feast, but Lord Capulet stops him.
