Proclamation Of Rights Of Man And Citizen
On 1774, Louis XVI was crowned king of France with her wife Marie Antoinette and the popular "Reign Of Terror" begins.
Failed escape from the royal family
The Bastille was used as a state prison by the kings of France. it was stormed by the crowd on July 14, 1789. It became an important symbol for the French Republican Movement.
Execution of Marie Antoinette
On August 26, 1789, the French National Constituent Assembly issued the Declaration of Rights of Man and Citizen which defined individual and collective rights at the time of the French Revolution.
On 1791, the royal family tries to escape from the country but is discovered and arrested.
On 1793, ten months later the execution of her husband, queen Marie Antoinette is also executed in the guillotine and the "Reign of Terror" ends.
November 9, 1799. Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte gave a great coup d'etat that ended the directory. He also becomes ruler of France.
