  • On 1774, Louis XVI was crowned king of France with her wife Marie Antoinette and the popular "Reign Of Terror" begins.
  • Failed escape from the royal family
  • The Bastille was used as a state prison by the kings of France. it was stormed by the crowd on July 14, 1789. It became an important symbol for the French Republican Movement.
  • Execution of Marie Antoinette
  • On August 26, 1789, the French National Constituent Assembly issued the Declaration of Rights of Man and Citizen which defined individual and collective rights at the time of the French Revolution.
  • Napoleon Bonaparte
  • On 1791, the royal family tries to escape from the country but is discovered and arrested.
  • On 1793, ten months later the execution of her husband, queen Marie Antoinette is also executed in the guillotine and the "Reign of Terror" ends.
  • November 9, 1799. Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte gave a great coup d'etat that ended the directory. He also becomes ruler of France.
