- Mercutio and Benvolio are talking about the letter that Tybalt sent to Romeo wanting to fight
- Nay, he will answer the letter's master, how he dares, being dared
- This relates to the motif revenge since Tybalt wants to get revenge on Romeo since Romeo came to their party.
- Revenge is important in this book because every fight that happens, will we important because other characters can take revenge on other characters.
- Shakespeare is demonstrating that revenge is a part of the characters daily lives and that every character needs to be careful on what they should say and do, since it may come back around.
