- Okay Camus your final question is..."What is the meaning of Life?"
- Life has no meaning. Life or human existence has no real meaning or purpose because human existence occurred out of a random chance in nature, and anything that exists by chance has no intended purpose.
- That is correct! Congratulations you have just won a $10,000 cash prize! What are you going to do with all this money?
- Nothing.
- And what makes you think money has no value?!
- Money has no value unless a person or a group of people decide to give it value. They trust each other that its worth will never be worthless. If people start to lose faith in a currency, then the money will no longer hold its value.
- Money loses value when its purchasing power falls. Since inflation is a rise in the level of prices, the amount of goods and services a given amount of money can buy falls with inflation. That means that when you pay the money back, it will buy only half as much as it could have bought when you borrowed it. Money is always losing value every second of every day.
- Well since you believe that money has no value, then I guess I'll have to give the money to the runner up.
- If that's what you believe then so be it.
