  • Liz and her dad, Will, are going to the store to purchase some magnets. She wants to use the magnets to decorate her door. She will use the magnet to make her room look freshly decorated.

  • She finds two magnets that stick out to her so she takes a look at them. Liz finds it interesting and starts to play with it until she realizes that the magnets won't connect.
  • Liz goes to find her dad, and explains how she thinks the magnets are broken and use battery. She feels confused and doesn't understand how magnets work or power on.
  • These magnets don't work at all. Electricity is suppose to be the power source that makes them have its magnetic traits.
  • Liz's dad, Will, explains to her how magnets work. Electricity isn't in magnets but made with magnets. Also, batteries can not be found in magnets since the magnetic field is the reason why magnets act that way.
  • Actually, you can give thanks to the magnetic field. Depending on the type of magnet you use, they can either repel or attract.
  •
  • At the end of the day, Liz choose the magnets she wanted and is glad that she learned something new. Its not everyday she gets to see this, but now she can understand how magnets react to each other
