- Saanvi goes to the kitchen because she s hungry she finds a Straw berry cupcake and a Orange juice, Cupcake being her favorite she chose to eat that
- As soon as she puts the food into her mouth and starts chowing the food the saliva is released
- The partially digested food. Known as a bolus, then passes through a tube called esophagus. A muscular wave like motion called peristalsis moves the bolus down the tube
- The bolus reaches the end of the tube and then lands into the stomach. The bolus is mixed with the digestive juices to make a soupy mixture.
- The bolus then passes through the stomach to the small interstinesthere the soupy mixture is mixed with the digestive juices to help is break down a little more. The food Moves along the small interstine, where some of the nutrients get absorbed into the blood
- The food then passes into the large interstine where water in reabsorbed .What is left can't be digested know as feces .The Feces leave the alimentary canal through the anus.
