TO BE HONEST, I DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT I WANTED TO DO FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE WHEN I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL... I HAD DREAMS OF BECOMING AN ANIMATOR, BUT COULDN'T AFFORD THE SCHOOLING...
...SO I SPENT TWO YEARS IN MISSIONS, TRAVELLING TO INDIA, NEPAL, AND THAILAND, JUST HELPING OUT WHEREVER I WAS NEEDED. THROUGH THIS I DISCOVERED MY PASSION FOR CULTURE, LANGUAGE, AND LEARNING.
I KNEW THAT IF I WANTED TO REALLY HELP PEOPLE, I HAD TO HAVE SOMETHING TO OFFER. I BEGAN MY COLLEGE CAREER AT DAWSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE ON A VOLLEYBALL SCHOLARSHIP TO HELP PAY MY TUITION. I STILL DIDN'T REALLY KNOW WHAT I WANTED FOR A MAJOR, SO I STARTED STUDYING MEDICINE BECAUSE IT APPLIED WELL TO MISSION WORK.
I TRANSFERRED TO MILES COMMUNITY COLLEGE, WHERE I GRADUATED WITH MY ASSOCIATES DEGREE. I DISCOVERED THERE THAT I REALLY ENJOYED TUTORING MY INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS IN READING AND WRITING, SO I SWITCHED MY MAJOR TO EDUCATION AND HAVE STUCK WITH IT EVER SINCE.
THIS IS MY LAST YEAR IN COLLEGE, AND AFTER RECIEVING MY DEGREE I HOPE TO PURSUE TEFL CERTIFICATION AND TEACH ENGLISH WHEREVER IT IS MOST NEEDED. THANKS FOR READING!THE END (?)
