- A spy? Who?
- Hey, I didn't tell you guys. We have a spy!
- We're going back to turn ourselves in
- WHAT!
- Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally talked about Cherry Valance. Dally said that Cherry would tell the judge that the socs were drunk and looking for trouble.
- Johnny and Ponyboy want to turn themselves in because Cherry Valance would help defend them. But Dally was incredulous about the fact that Johnny and Ponyboy wanted to turn themselves in.
- Dally, Johnny, and Ponyboy drove back to the old church to see that it was in flames. The boys noticed that people were surrounding the church.
- Gosh Ponyboy! You had me so worried. I thought we lost you like my mom and dad.
- Ponyboy found out that there were children in the church. Ponyboy ran into the church gallantly, to save the children with Johnny following him
- Johnny and Ponyboy got injured while saving the children in the church. Tired and hurt, Ponyboy made it out of the church, only to see that Johnny was still inside. Dally ran inside to save Johnny. Dally, Ponyboy, and Johnny were sent to the hospital to get treated.
- Later on Sodapop and Darry came to see Ponyboy. Sad and worried, Darry grabbed Ponyboy and hugged him.
