- Hitler has already started his journey of taking over Germany. He broke the Treaty of Versailles and expanded into Austria.
- Germany and the Soviet Union signed a non-aggression pact, which was a promise that they wouldn't attack each other for 10 years
- While Austrians liked this, the UK and the US gave vocal protests, but nothing official came out of this

- Everyone let Hitler break the Treaty of Versailles and keep invading other countries even though they knew it was wrong because they didn't want another war

- This is what really scared people. With these three countries in an alliance, They knew bad things could happen. Yet there was still no formal action taken

- Britain and Poland signed a treaty with France, which was the last straw before WWll began!
- World war ll started in 1939 when Germany invaded Poland. Great Britain and France then responded by declaring war on Germany. Many countries soon joined since they had conflicts with other countries too.
