  • Declare War
  • Establish Laws of Natrualization
  • Congress gets the power to coin money and to regulate it's value. States cannot print and coin their own money. Money shall only be regulated within the federal government. This is important because we only need one federal currecny that helps states with taxes.
  • The Power to Support Public Schools, Welfare Programs, Public Housing, etc
  • Congress is granted the sole power to declare war. A war request must be approved and voted upon. This is important because we could be in conflict and need to slove that conflict.
  • The Power to Draft People Into Armed Services
  • Congress has the power to establish laws of natrualization. This is important because it helped with what people are U.S citizens and who are not.
  • The Power to Limit The Number of Immigrants To The U.S
  • This is a power that is specifically stated in the Constitution. This is important because people shall have the power to help protect/support anything they want.
  • This is another power that is stated into the Consitution. This is important because if we are in a war and we need people, their will always be people ready to serve for the country they live in.
  • This is stated in the Consitiution. This is important because some of these immigrants could be bad news, and we do not want to put our country at stake.
