Storyboard Text

  • Help! I have a test on motion tomorrow!
  • Don´t worry! First, I will teach you about Newtonś Laws.
  • Makes sense! What is next?
  • Newtonś first law states objects in motion stay in motion, and objects at rest stay at rest unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
  • Newtonś second law is F=MA, or force equals mass times acceleration
  • Alright, whatś next!
  • Finally, Newtonś third law is for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.
  • Okay, what is next!
  • Ok, but what about relative motion?
  • Motion is when the distance between 2 objects changes.
  • Relative motion is the motion of another object with regard to some other moving object.
  • I think I got it!
  • A reference point is a place or object used for comparison to determine if something is in motion
  • Unbalanced forces create forces, and balanced forces stay still.
  • So to summarize, there are three laws of motion and motion is when the distance between 2 objects changes.
  • You got it! You will ace the test!
