  • Why have you taken us all away from our homes and families? What have we done to get this type of treatment?
  • Deportation Of Nova Scotia
  • You have done enough now shut up!
  • The English army was quite upset and said to the Acadian's that the next time they captured a fort they would blow it to pieces. They said this because they were upset that they had to give the land back to the Acadians after the war.
  • Escaping Capture
  • Yes I know, I miss everyone, I need to see more of our people.
  • The population of Ile-St-Jean was quickly rising and with that comes more need for supplies and food, usually as the newcomers the Mi'kmaq would help them out and give them supplies but at this point there was more Acadians than there was Mi'kmaq.
  • Louisbourg Destroyed
  • There was originally 10 000 living in Acadia but after the deportation of Nova Scotia there ere only 4000 that had escaped in the woods and fled to Miramichi, Quebec and Ile-St-Jean. All of this was happening because the British decided that the disloyal Acadians had to be kicked out.
  • Deportation Of Île Saint-Jean
  • Everyone abandon ship we are goin down, I repeat we are going down.
  • Wait you again....What.... How are you here
  • During the deportation in Nova Scotia there was 4000 Acadians that escaped to one of three places, Miramichi, Quebec, or Ile-St-Jean. The escapees would have fled to the forest and slowly made their way to one of the three places listed.
  • We escaped but there's no one else. Just me and you until we find Ile-St-Jean.
  • As the British promised they captured Fort Louisbourg and completely destroyed it, the british had learned from their past conflicts that they could not leave any trace of the French.
  • AHHHHHHHH!!Charge, we need to get this fort now!
  • In the deportation of Ile-St-Jean the British were a lot nicer to the Acadians and gave them the chance to escape if they wanted to. The British wanted the Acadians gone because they coundnt trust them and just didn't like them in general.
  • I don't wanna talk about it.
