- A little bit later...
- Well as you can see, the middle ages where a very rough time to live in, they had to grow their own crops and they had to make their own clothes and some didn't even own their own house!
- Well, the reason for that is because the nobelmen or the lord owned it and in trade for good living condisions they would work on the lords farms and more. these people were called serf!
- I'll show you!
- Who are Serfs? Who are nobelmen?
- Yes, it does look very rough but, why didn't they own their own houses?
- How hard would they have to work?
- Please give my family a home please! we will be the best workers you have ever had!
- Hmmm...
- Let me show you!
- As you can see it was very hard to get just even a home and even if you did you would have to work long hard hours for it.
- But what about the Black death?
- What would they have to do for the Church?
- Well, the black death pretty much almost wiped out the idea of living on a manor and it also almost ended man kind. Let me show you where it started.
- As you can see they worked long hours doing things for the nobelmen and lord and sometimes even the Church
- Good question, back then the church actually had a lot of power, People never questioned the decisions of the church. So, they just did what they were told
- Shoot, we have a rat problem on our ship.
- Ahh! Rats, I HATE rats.
- As you can see there where a lot more rats back then and most of the rats later carried the black death disease and spread it like wildfire. Just look what Happened to this guy after he was infected.

- Well, sadly pretty much everyone was in this state by the end of the black death. It was so gross it made your fingers turn black and everything!
- Well guys its getting late we should go back to the classroom, I'll answer most of your questions back there.
