scientist believe about 3 million years ago when the first hominins started to appear the African forest was drying out and becoming grassland.This sort of change started the journey of early humans to start evolving.

Early humans left Africa because there wasn't floodwater and other resources so they moved went to southwest Asia.

After crossing the red sea groups of hunter/gathers spreader out to several other regions. The hunters/gathers followed the animals which was their source of food where there was animals there was other resoruces to use to survive like water and fruits.

During the ice age Homo sapiens didn't live in Europe because the climate was too cold.But when the ice age was over around 40,000 years ago the climate in Europe grew warmer this along with the mastery of fire allowed modern humans/homo sapiens to travel further north.
Archaeologists believed that early humans might of built simple boats or rafts and used them to reach Australia.
When early humans came to Australia they had advanced weapons and hunting techniques.They started to hunt other mammals but they eventually became extinct so they started hunting large flightless bird in New Zealand but they eventually became extinct.
