  • The president has many roles. Today, we will discuss a few of these roles and why they are important
  • Another role of the president is commander in chief. The president is the commander of the military.
  • The next role of the president is to be the chief executive of the US. This means the president is "in charge" of the US.
  • The president is also the moral leader of the US. They are what "sets the example" for the citizens of the US.
  • The president is also considered the Chief legislator because the president can veto legislation if they want to and they can support recommended legislation .
  • Finally, thee president of the US is also the leader oof the party they are in and can help party members and influence them to vote on the parties' behalf in Congress.
