Storyboard Text

  • One afternoon, the boy saw his mom placed new plants in the living room.
  • Mom, why do plants need a specific light to grow indoors? Can't you just use an ordinary light bulb?
  • Ideally son, plants should be grown outdoors where it can get natural sunlight, water, and air. Since its indoor plants, it still needs sufficient sunlight to survive. Unlike an ordinary light bulb, the growlight provides a light spectrum that is similar to the sun.
  • But how does it works? It seems to be just like an ordinary light to me.
  • Grow lights mostly give plants a full-spectrum light. Most lights that the plants use is from the color blue and red ends of the spectrum. The blue light stimulates vegetative growth while red stimulates the plant to produce flowers and bear fruits.
  • Yes mom, I remember my previous lesson on Science. My teacher said that each color has different wavelengths and frequencies. I think that Grow Lights have 610 - 700 nm for chlorophyll absorption to help the plant grow.
  • It also mimics the sunlight.
  • Its wavelength is perfect for flowering and photoperiodism. The balanced blue and red light are all the plant's needs for optimized growth.
  • Wow! That's great!
  • Mom, I think that this plant only needed a certain amount of sunlight.
  • Actually son, I placed these plants in the garden, then I have noticed that some of the leaves burned because of direct sunlight exposure. I watched some videos of the Plantita's in the internet and they use Grow Light. That is why I gave it a try and it worked!
  • Thanks to Science and Andrei Famintsyn, We have this amazing product that can help many people when keeping plants indoors.
  • WIthout this product, I would not know what to do if I am going to keep these plants indoors. Thank you Grow Lights!
