- One fateful day on the bus Millie and Lucy were just sitting down when the coolest kids in school, Barbara and Jake, asked if they wanted to drink at their house. Millie knows it's a bad idea since she is underage, but she really wants to be popular and cool.
- That night when Millie arrived at Barbara's house it seemed like everything would be just great. But she did begin to drink way to much, which her young body especially couldn't handle.
- Drink?! That's not smart, right Millie?
- Drink?! Smoke Weed?! My parents would kill me !!
- Wanna come to our house Saturday? We could drink, maybe even smoke some weed, it'll be fun!
- That night Lucy really needed to think it through. There was an upside and downside of each. She also knew there was a right choice, that Lucy wanted her to choose. But there was also the factor of being cool and popular. What will Millie do?
- Everything Millie had hoped not to happen had happened. The next door neighbor heard them and reported them to the police who then notified her parents she was in legal trouble and trouble with her parents. She realized she should of listened to Lucy.
- Mom and Dad would absolutely kill me! And the police might find us out and get involved! But Barbara and Mike would want to be my friends, and think I'm so cool! I think I wanna go, the police and my parents will never know!
- Millie ended up getting in trouble with the police and was grounded by her parents for an entire month! She reflected and realized that popularity should not have been her priority, and that she should have sticked with Lucy who only wanted the best for her.
- The next day Millie decided to tell Barbara and Mike she wanted to go to their hangout with drugs. Millie knows she's betraying Lucy, who had been nice to her for years and was one of her best friends. But Millie decided that her popularity was above her safety, friendships, and parental trust.
- Millie, I thought we talked about how drinking and smoking wasn't smart?
- I'm up for Saturday night!
- Great, I'm glad you can come Millie! Lucy your such a wimp.
- Hi Millie! Let's get right to it! This is going to be so fun.
- Hi guys!
- You are only 17! This is illegal.
- I never should of betrayed Lucy.
- This is so annoying, we were just being cool!
