- The earth's surface warming is causing:Rising sea levelsShrinking mountain glaciersIce melting at a faster rate than usual in Greenland, Antarctica and the ArcticChanges in flower and plant blooming times.
- Some parts of Earth are warming faster than others. But on average, global air temperatures near Earth's surface have gone up about 2 degrees Fahrenheit in the past 100 years.How does this affect us?The amount of rainfall and hurricanes have been increasing so had drought and heatwaves affecting plants, animals and all of us
- Human activities — such as burning fuel to power factories, cars and buses — are the main cause that is making the atmosphere trap more heat than it used to, leading to a warmer Earth.
