  • There are 18 different types of landscapes in the world.
  • Environment
  • This place behind me is a great example of a safe and lively environment!!
  • Landform
  • Right behind me is a dormant volcano, which is a perfect example of a landform.
  • Section of the Earth's surface made up of a variety of natural or man-made geographical features. Eg., Deserts, coasts, rainforests.
  • Continent
  • The continents visible from this angle is North and South America, including a bit of Africa and Europe.
  • A specific place on Earth and all the living and non- living elements that are there
  • Geomorphology
  • A natural feature of the Earth's surface, for example a mountain, valley, lowland or volcano
  • World Heritage site
  • The landmass on Earth is divided into continents. The seven current continents are Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America.
  • The scientific field that investigates how landforms are formed on the Earth
  • A place listed by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) as of special cultural or natural significance for preservation for the global community
