Storyboard Text

  • This picture shows Newton's First Law, an object in motion wants to stay in motion unless obstructed by a greater force. The women is kicking a ball and it hits the man. The blue arrow represents force between her foot and the ball.
  • This picture shows Newton's Second Law, the acceleration of an object depends on the force exerted and the object's mass. The boy's ball went further because is has more mass and he exerted more force.
  • This picture shows Newton's Third Law, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The action is the air rushing out of the balloon and the reaction is the balloon going up.
  • This picture shows weightlessness, which is only a feeling. The arrow shows that the astronaut is not standing but is in free fall.
  • This picture shows that the soda can is a projectile. The blue arrow (horizontal velocity), represents the soda falling down from the machine and the orange arrow (vertical velocity), represents gravity
