- Kaylee is a straight A student who currently attends Moore college. She spends a lot of her time at school doing homework before she heads out to work.
- And this is our newest collection here at Sophie's Boutique
- Kaylee works long hours at Sophie's Boutique so she could pay for her school.
- Kaylee overworks herself both at school and at work. She gets home late at night exhausted. She gets sad thinking about all the times her friends have gone out without her.
- You have to come with us to that new burger place in town!
- I can't, I have work after class.
- I wish I could go out with my friends more
- earlier that day...

- The next day at work something unexpected happens...
- What am I supposed to do now?
- I'm sorry to tell you this Kaylee, but I have to lay you off.
- No this is horrible! How am I supposed to pay for school?
- Kaylee felt very overwhelmed so the next day she asked to meet with her friend Aisha.
- I know losing your job took a huge toll on you. Soo I talked to my mom and asked her if you could come work at the bakery and she said yes!
- Aisha that's so sweet of you, you didn't have to do that! Are you sure your mom's okay with me working there? I know its a family business.
- Don't be ridiculous! My family loves you. My mom said you can start Monday!
- OMG we're gonna be work buddies!

- With Kaylee working at Aisha's family's business, she's able to spend more time with her friends as well as make more time for herself.
- We're still going to that burger place after work right?
- Yes, of course!
- Wow this food is amazing! I've really been missing out!
- How's your first day going?
- It's going great! I love it!
- Yeah, we've been telling you! I'm just glad you're finally here with us.
