- What you say sir, does it come from the heart?
- Alas, my cart is made unusable, may the devil take it all.
- Characters: Summoner, Yeoman, Farmer, Old LadyThe summoner is heavily into with craft and is able to remove sin from people in order to harmonize with the forces of the after life. Summoner is called up to banish evil from an old lady.
- Climax
- I said I'll rid you of your evil just so long as there'es something in it for me!!!
- Along the way, he meets a Yeoman, a fiend who dwells in the depths of hell. The Yeoman and Summoner join forces even after the Yeoman tells the summoner of his true self.
- Falling Action
- Maybe I should take your favorite frying pan and rid you of your sins, sounds like a reasonable trade to me.
- As they continue on the Journey, they stumble across a farmer whose cart it stuck in the mud. Out of frustration, the farmer says out of exasperation, for the devil to take the cart, horse hay, and all. The Summoner urges him on to do as he please, but the Yeoman explains that the curse was not uttered from the heart in sincerity.
- Resolution
- The summoner reaches the woman's house to rid her of evil. She doesn't have the required payment and the summoner gives her a bribe to which she refuses.
- Take your bribe and shove it you jackanape.
- The summoner says he'll just take the old lady's favorite frying pan. To which she replies...The yeoman hears her words to be true which utters the birth of a true curse.
- Do these words burn true in your heart?
- May the devil take you and that frying pan to hell!!
- Summoner is dragged off to hell where the yeoman tells us has a special place for summoners. The devil said he hopes the summoners can repent and be blessed with purity.
