- Hey Marcus, I stopped by because I wanted you to look at our financial documents and create a balance sheet for our first month
- Looking at this income statement it seems that your trail balance doesn't balance, your credits are much higher than your debits
- What does that mean?
- Basically all your debit accounts have a higher value than your credit accounts, this could be for various different reasons such as some transactions could be missing, you could of inaccurately recorded your transactions or maybe some items are missing and you are not keeping a track of them. But from what I see it seems to me that your missing some key transactions
- Well you know sometimes its not as simple as that, being a new business owner of a new store sometimes you tend to miss key accounting and financial principles if you are not set up correct , you will have to consult a accounting expert for your next steps.
- Well what could it be? We record all our transactions made at the cashiers.
