- The Phone Call
- WHAT?!
- Whats's happening?

- Johnny had died. Poor Johnny..
- The Fuzz
- HELP!
- What's going to happen?
- Darry get's a mysterious phone call while he was talking to Ponyboy. He answers it and hangs up quickly. His voice sounds tensed and scared. Darry explains to the gang that Dally was on the phone.
- Spotlight
- HANDS UP!
- Dally had robbed a grocery store and was running to the vacant lot because the police were right on his tail. He robbed the store because of Johnny's death. Once he heard about the news, he ran out and robbed the grocery store. Darry, Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Two-Bit all run to the vacant lot to hide Dally from the police.
- The Shot
- As soon as everyone arrives, Dally comes running in the lot with the police chasing behind him. Dally kept running as fast as he could in the opposite direction from the fuzz (police).
- Death
- Dally finally stopped running and stood underneath the lamp posts. He stood in the spotlight and dropped the grocery bags. The police jumped out of the car and yelled, "HANDS UP!"
- Dally had surrendered. Sort of. He pulled out his gun. However, the gun didn't have any bullets in it. It was a bluff. The fuzz then pulled out their guns and fired away.
- He wanted to die. Dallas Winston wanted to die. He created a bluff so that he could get shot by the fuzz. When the police shot him, he started falling down. He died before he even hit the ground.
