  • Michelangelo "The Renaissance Man" was a talented painter, sculptor, poet, and engineer. At first Michelangelo did not want to paint the Sistine Chapel's ceiling.
  • I will take you sir Michelangelo to your painting site for the next few days.
  • Thank you. I am thinking this project will last for a long time, but surly on more than two years.
  • His greatest project was the huge decorative mural on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in Rome, however it took much convincing to have him paint the ceiling.
  • I chose you to paint the ceiling of this cathedral because you are the best. Everything you need will be provided.
  • He created 182 artworks in his lifetime, but spent many hours/years on each work. (started in 1508).
  • Wow... this is a huge ceiling.
  • He painted the Biblical History of the world on the ceiling. Nine different Biblical scenes were painted on the 132 by 48 by 68 feet tall building. He stayed on the platform for a long time...
  • This must be perfect!
  • 4 Years later...
  • It took four years to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Michelangelo got very depressed and sad during the creation of it and wrote many poems about his misery.
  • After the completion of the mural Michelangelo completed many more artworks. (finished in 1512).
  • I... am...so...old. This stupid painting took four years to complete.
  • SIR Michelangelo IT LOOKS AMAZING!
