- Well, fracking creates open areas to extract oil. Oil is one of the most valued resources in the world and is used every single day.

- Yeah how could there be any cons?
- Guys, fracking is a process of removing oil from the ground by fracturing the ground using water and minerals.
- But that doesn't sound too bad.
- Why would anyone want to do this?
- The closer you live to fracking the more likely you are to be exposed to toxic chemicals that could cause cancer.
- Oh, I see. That doesn't sound too good.
- Fracking occurs most in Texas and other states but its known for polluting water and letting out a lot of green house gasses.
- I think in the future we might run out of oil and need to depend on other sources of resources that might help our envirmont be cleaner.
- Ok I see this is relevant to the US because that a big part of our economy. But it also affects are citizens who might get exposed to it or need the water.
