I'm dying of hunger and there's barely any food at home. If only my barren land would allow me to grow something to eat.
The Eagle's Attack
Oh no, that eagle is going to kill the sparrow.
The Healing of the Bird
Phew, you're recovering. Drink well!
Once upon a time, there was a farmer named William Wayward. He lived in a barren land and slept in a small shack. He had no work to do nor anything to eat. It made him sad about his life. He pleads to the villagers for help, but in vain, no one came to his rescue.
The Bird's Kind Offering
As Mr. Wayward was entering his house to drink water and crunch his hunger, he noticed a bird resting on the roof of his house. Suddenly an eagle prying on the bird raced through the sky to grab him. The bird fought hard and broke its wing after trying to escape from the eagle's clutches.
Hoping for a Miracle
William Wayward ran to the bird's rescue. He picked him up to check his injuries. He then gave the bird some water to drink and applied medicine to heal the broken wing. Even though the bird took a few days to regain its strength, the poor farmer did not lose hope and took immense care of it.
A Man of Millions
Soon, the sparrow left his yard and returned with three seeds. The bird gave them to the farmer as a gift for nursing him back to health. William Wayward accepted the seeds and thanked him for his kind gesture.
Thank you, little friend for giving me the seeds
TThe farmer went to his barren field and planted the seeds. He thought it was unlikely that anything would grow but still hoped for the best. He gave it a sincere attempt, as the bird gave him the seeds with good intentions. He prayed for the seeds to grow and yield him a good crop.
Hopefully, the seeds will grow on this barren land.
A few days later, Mr. Wayward returned and was surprised to see so many pumpkins in his field. He soon realized that these were magic seeds. He quickly grabbed a pumpkin and ate it to his satisfaction. He generously shared the pumpkins with the poor and needy people in his town.
