Storyboard Text
- The narrator's husband john rents a home so she can recover from a temporary nervous depression. He is a physician who does not believe she is sick. She thinks the wallpaper is unpleasant at first glance.
- The narrator starts to obsess over the wallpaper and believes that there is a distinct difference in the wallpaper based on the lighting. She does not sleep much at night and starts to believe that there is a woman trapped behind the wallpaper.
- The narrator now believes that the woman gets out of the wallpaper during the day and thinks she sees her creeping everywhere outside the window. She also thinks that she herself came from inside the wallpaper.
- Her husband returns home to find that she locked herself inside of the home after ripping down all the wallpaper. She is "creeping" hunched over and circling the room with her shoulder touching the smudged mark on the wall. John faints and she continues to creep over his body. She had progressed to full psychosis and believes that since she ripped off most of the wallpaper they cannot put her back inside the wallpaper.
