- The Korean war begins right after wold war 2. It was between North Korea and South Korea for control over the political government. North Korea wants communism to spread out of Korea and South Korea is against communism, and so was the U.S. So we entered the war on South Korea's side. This war lasted 3 years and it ended with a division between North and South Korea at the 38 borderlines.
- The Discovery of the Titanic1985
- The space race was a computation between the Soviets and the U.S. to be able to send as many ships as they can into space. One after another the U.S and the soviet union was sending people around the earth's orbit. The U.S wanted to go a step farther and decided to send the first man to the moon. There were many trials involving the creation of the shuttle. In the end, the U.S was the first the send a man to the moon. This made people believe that the U.S won the Space Race.
- Chernobyl Disaster 1986
- The Vietnam war was fought against communism in the north and capitalism in the south. This war lasted about 16 years, but the topic has been going on even when wold war 2 was going on. There were many casualties and more than 2 million deaths. Throughout the war, there was a dire need for soldiers. Civilians were picked to go into the military. With little training, many civilians put their lives on the line. For that, they should never be forgotten.

- The Titanic sank over 70 years before it was found in 1985. It was founded by two oceanographers Jean Louis and Robert Ballard. They wore exploring the ocean floor by Argo. A submarine created by the U.S Navy. Its original purpose was to find two Navy Ships. The Uss Thresher and Uss Scorpion. By mistake, it found the Titanic. This discovery was a great cover-up plan to hide the real purpose of Argo, from the Soviets.
- Nuclear weapons were founded during world war 2. Since then many places had access to these weapons. One day in Europe there was a terrible accident and the factory explored. This was the worse Nuclear manufacturing explosion. This explosion caused lots of dangerous chemicals to fly into the air. The dangerous chemicals started to kill many people around the area.
- The end of the Soviet Union is when the cold war ended in 1991. The Soviets broke apart because of arguing between the countries some of them parted ways with the soviet union. So one day President Gorbachev called off the Soviet Union and resigned from the presidency.
