  • Oh no!, their taxing us and their still not giving us any say or representation in their government!
  • King George III draws a line on a map of the colonies and says Colonists can’t move past it and the land on the other side was for the Native Americans
  • Boston Massacre
  • The British Government punished colonists by making it so British soilers can walk into any colonist's or civilian's home and the colonist or civilian has to provide them with food and any other resources that they may need and they can't refuse.
  • Boston Tea Party
  • The British government put a tax on paint, tea, lead, and other imports. The British are also now aloud to searched any colonists or person's house without warning or warrant.
  • ActsCoercive/Intolerable/ Acts
  • Attention!We can no longer except any imports for any other place or country
  • British soldiers in Boston shoot and kill a group of boys in Boston on March 5, 1770. A large crowd of colonists was threatening British soldiers and after panicking, the soldiers shot into the crowd.

  • People got mad about the taxes on the tea, so they got on ships and boarded them with boxes full of tea and dumped the tea into the harbor in response to having taxes being put on tea. They also dressed themselves up as natives for this event as well.

  • The British prevents Boston from importing and exporting goods which greatly affects their industries, economies, and business here. The British also shut down all courts in Boston and they shut down their government as well.
