In this presentation, we will review when the author tells us many details about a setting.
Let's start with the Casa-Rosada.
On page 4 the author says the Casa Rosada was very different. Somehow it made April feel like Hollywood and home. It was very Spanishy-looking with great thick walls, arched doorways, fancy iron grillwork, stained glass panels in the windows and tile floors in the lobby. Outside it was painted pink.
Now we go to April
This tells us that much of her home is like Hollywood and more of a Spanish style.
On pages 83 and 84 the text says she was wearing her Egyptian headdress and under her sheer jeweled robe she had on the short tunic made out of pillowcase. Around the botton of the pillowcase there wer Egyptian-looking decorations done in red and black crayon. For once her false eyelashes were on straight. and she had heavy black eye makeup that made her eyes look long and mysterious. But most suprising was her hair-it was cut in a sort of Cleopatra bob.
This tells us that April went out of her way to make a costume and cared about Egypt enough to take the time to make a nice costume.
