- This man to your right is taking your identity as you are standing there. He's scanning your information so he can use it for himself, because you are on public Wi-Fi. I can help you though by teaching you the 3 D's. Deter, Detect, and defend.
- #1: DeterBest ways to deter Identity theft is to make sure you dont bring all debit/credit cards in your wallet everywhere you go.
- #2. Detect.Once youve detected an identity theft happening, check for transactions you have not made and etc.

- #3. DefendOnce you have became a victim of identity theft, you could cancel your cards, call one of the 3 credit sites, file a police report, and etc. And that is Identity theft and how you can prevent and fix it if it happens to you.
