- Today class we will be learning about the cell theory
- That sounds so boring
- Who came up with the cell theory, or contributed to it
- which are, all organisms are composed of one or more cells, the cell is the basic unit of structure, and all cells come from preexisting cells
- There are three parts of the cell theory

- Didn't Anton Van Leeuhoek make his own microscope in 1678 in the Netherlands
- Well to start off there was Zacharias Janssen who built the first microscope in 1590 in Middleburg
- Yeah, then Robert Hooke discovered the cell in 1665 in the United Kingdom
- Also Rudolph Virchow provided research on how cells did come from other cells in 1855 in Swidwin
- There was also Matthias Schleiden who had figured out there was cells in plants in 1838 in Hamburg
- Yes, you both are correct but there is still a few more
- These kids are nerds
- Then Theodor Schwann studied animal cells then also invented rebreathers for firefighters in 1839 in Neuss
