- Hello there, my name is Max and I will be teaching you all you need to know about the Department of Energy.
- Each day, the Department of Energy Works works to get better each day. They are in charge of the national, economic, and the energy security of the Untied States.
- Back then, the world was much more polluted than it was today.
- Since the sky was so polluted, it made animal homes dirty and unhealthy.
- Certain leaders in our country wanted to make a change. This is when they created the Department of Energy in 1977.
- The Department of Energy looked energy in natural resources. They used sunbeams, wind breezes, and rivers.
- The Department of Energy created solar panels. They collect the sun's energy and turn it into electricity, allowing it to power things like homes and schools.
- They also created windmills that make sure our energy is clean!
- Rivers play a big part in energy, too. The Department of Energy uses the water from the river to make electricity! How cool is that?!
- They even use the Earth's heat and warmth to make energy!
- Our scientists work are and create new inventions to make a better Department of Energy.
- The Department of Energy gets more and more advanced each day and doesn't stop.
