  • In 1810, a man named Miguel Hidalgo who was a local catholic priest and was well-known in the country began to endure rage against the peninsular population.
  • In 1811, Miguel Hidalgo created a social revolution to call for independence of Mexico. Which brought many Mexican followers together to plan for the Spanish's execution.
  • In the same year 1811, Miguel Hidlago wrote the "Grito de dolores" , which was the battle cry of mexican independence
