  • MediaPolitical parties use media as a source of campaigning. With environmental policies there is the use of news outlets, which tend to have a biased portrayal, to promote their policies and get a reaction from the public. Republicans tend to advocate that environmental policies are a waste of taxpayer money, challenge the energy industry and take away land that is needed for agriculture. Democrats tend to advocate that environmental policies allow for more substantial and resilient communities and career opportunities.
