  • hello everybody! today on new 85, we will be talking about a very serious matter, depression.
  • Let us talk about the most imporant thing first, if you see a friend or somebody in your class act strange, stress out often, or you see that they need help in some way, ask them about how they feel and listen to them while they are speaking. you should also reccomend a trusted adult or therapist to them
  • if you yourself are expierencing depression and extreme anxiety, talk with a therapist or trusted adult. remember to state your problems with the trusted adult, and ask if they could help you with whatever you are feeling.
  • we also have a special guest for today, who has been through depression himself.

  • so, how did you deal with your problems?
  • i overcame my depression by talking with a therapist about my feelings and they gave me helpful tips to deal with stress like how planning ahead will take stress away.
  • how did you ask for help from your therapist?
  • first i communicated with them and stated how i felt, then i communicated with my friends and family so that they know how i feel.
