- Pi begins the narrative by explaining sections of his life before and after his trek across the Pacific Ocean. He talks about academia, the zoo, and his life in India and Canada. He also expresses his ideas on animal behavior and traits

- WHAT? Why are we moving to Canada
- we were selling our zoo and we moved in Canada
- His Father discuss that they moved to Canada and sell their zoo
- Why we sell are zoo? what about the Animals?
- The ship sink. Pi together with the animal and the tiger Richard Parker jump in the boat. Pi lost hope and confirms to his self that he has no chance to survive
- Help!! Anybody here? Can you here me?
- I'm now alone with the tiger. He ate the hyena and will most likely eat me as well. I'm terrified, but I know I have to survive!
- Pi is still fighting for his life. He also continues to put an end to any threats made by Richard Parker. Pi finally encounters a blind Frenchman, but Pi was also blind. Both were blinded as a result of the body's response to dehydration.
- Pi is rescued in the Mexico
- When we finally made it to shore, Mexico to be specific, I was so exhausted that I hardly had the strength to be glad, and I had a difficult time landing the lifeboat. We nearly drowned in the waves.
