- Okay, what is she complaining about?
- She said she didn't get paid for the 2 days we were on strike. According to the law when there is legal strike employers are obliged to pay the employees.
- Thank Miss Wellington for hearing me out.
- I will deal with it right now, she will receive her payment before the end of the day. Thank you for raising this matter.
- As I promised to solve your problem, I went to Miss Wellington and she promised to do the payment before the end of the day.
- Thank you Mark, you are reliable shop steward.
- In this scene Mark is explaining the problem to his boss and stating what does the law say about situations like Linda's. He is playing the role of being a shop steward.
- Linda let me go and check my emails maybe the union has responded to my email.
- Miss Wellington who is the boss agreed to solve the problem she was also glad that the matter was brought to her.
- Linda and Mark are at their working stations, Mark is giving Linda a feedback about the problem that she encountered.
- Miss Wellington I'm here with the feedback from the union, they have agreed to have a meeting tomorrow morning before our shifts start.
- Okay that's by me, tomorrow it is.
- Mark is now going to his desk to check if the union did sent a response with a way forward for his problem.
- He is now looking at his emails. He got the response which state that they union leadership will come over t his workplace for a meeting together with his boss.
- In this scene Mark is going back to his boss office to tell her about the meeting that will be on the following pertaining the problem he's facing.
