Deborah was walking to the Credit Union to start her shift.
How did they get that information?
Deborah was on the phone with a member and was working on her computer with the members information on the computer.
She left her computer open with some member information on it, because she needed to get the managers help with the computer.
Deborah was on her break when she heard someone talking about the information that was on her computer. She was horrified to hear someone talking about her clients personal information.
Deborah was then called to the branch managers office. She didn't know what to do about the information that was talked about. She couldn't figure out if she should tell the manager.
Deborah walked into the office slightly afraid. When she walked in her manager did not look very happy. He told her that from now on she should secure her computer before she leaves her cubicle. He said if he had not known about the mishap he would take legal actions. Since he knew that it was an accident and only he saw it it would be fine for now.
